This week we had an Eid party celebration in school. The children were kind enough to bring in some party food to share with their classes. We all joined in with some group dancing and games. Some of the children dressed up in their traditional and party clothes. We spoke about how Eid-al-Fitr is one of two major holidays celebrated by Muslims and marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan (period of fasting). We also spoke about how we all have different beliefs and some of us celebrate different religious festivals.
