On Friday 10 November 2023, we celebrated Remembrance Day as a school with each Year Group standing together to show our respects by standing for a 2 minute silence. Children then undertook an array of activities to mark the special event.
In Year 2, children learnt about the symbolism behind the poppy and created their own poppies from different art mediums. They also wrote ‘Thank you’ notes to our brave armed forces who help to keep us safe.
