Year 2 children have had a very exciting start to the new academic year. The children are really enjoying learning about the Great Fire of London in History lessons. To make their learning come alive they got to experience seeing a real fire in the playground.
They used their senses and thought about what they could see, hear and smell. All of the wonderful vocabulary they generated helped them write some fantastic acrostic poems in English.
