As part of our transport topic, Reception classes travelled on a bus and DLR train to watch Aeroplans land and take off at London City Airport. This gave children the opportunity to observe different modes of transport first hand.
When we arrived back at school, children generated vocabulary to add to each class’s word wall which was used as a starting point for our trip follow up writing.
