This week in Reception, we have been learning about different animals that hatch from eggs. On Monday 15 May 2023, we were very lucky to have some eggs delivered to our classes. We predicted what animals we thought were inside the eggs. We also compared the eggs with other classes as they were different.
When our eggs finally hatched, we saw that they were ducklings and chicks! Some of our predictions were correct. We were all so excited! We have been keeping a diary of what has been happening each day, observing very carefully. We all love having chicks and ducklings in our classrooms and been looking after them very well.
