In English, Year 2 have been reading the story ‘The Polar Express’ and taking part in lots of prediction activities and discussions around the story. This morning children have had a cosy morning in their snuggly pyjamas, enjoying some delicious hot chocolate whilst watching the movie ‘The Polar Express!’ Children came to school to find their classrooms had transformed into a train carriage and each child was given a golden ticket to allow them to hop on board.
We even had a train conductor come and check all of our tickets! Once on board, we were all transported to a magical Christmas adventure.
