On 7 March 2024 we celebrated World Book Day in school. This year we focussed on a book called ‘Clean Up’ and we looked at how we can all look after our world and recycling. Children were encouraged to make an outfit out of recycled materials and came to school dressed up. Well done to all the children who made an outfit out of recycled materials, we are so proud of all of you!
To continue with our World Book Day theme we have had a Book Swap in school where children have bought a book from home to donate. All children have then gone home with a new book to enjoy.
We are also doing a Bag2School collection where all children will be recycling old clothes, shoes, bed linen etc.
