This term the children in Year 1 are learning about Sikhism. As part of their learning, the children went to visit the Gurdwara on Monday 23 rd January 2023. This first hand experienced allowed the children to understand more about Sikhism.
The children were able to understand that they need to keep their head covered as a sign of respect and wash their hands before they enter the Gurdwara. The session also focused on understanding the five Ks.
