This term the children in Year 1 have been finding out about Easter. As part of their learning, the children went to visit the St Paul’s Church on Friday 24th March 2023. This first hand experience allowed the children to understand more about why Christians celebrate Easter.
The children learnt about Palm Sunday, Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. They then went on an Easter Egg Hunt and were lucky enough to receive a chocolate egg from Merrin, the Vicar of St Pauls.
