This term we have been really lucky to have had a visit from the Zoo Lab. This visit was to introduce children to their new topic ‘Amazing Animals’.
Each class met some special visitors which included a tarantula, a gerbil, a cockroach, a snake and a frog. This exciting learning links to Science and introduced children to Scientific vocabulary such as ‘reptile, mammal, insect and arachnid’.
The children heard about lots of interesting facts and many of the children were really brave and touched the animals.
